3×12 – Nuts (Boston Legal)
Alright, finally I’m done! This will be the first release for the new year, and not a bad way to start as well. I did the transcripts as well as synch for the episode so I’m quite proud of myself – although I did miss out on a few words here and there, but no more than 4 or 5 in all, which is a huge deal to me! After this Monday, there should be a few releases out and possibly regular releases, if all goes as planned. I will try transcribing the Heroes episode and will synch the Studio 60 release once the transcripts get out – which may take a few days, depending on jackoweskla. But more than often, she is stunningly quick so I really don’t expect too much of a delay!
Back to BL. I thought it was a really good episode…Spader and Shatner are at their very best as usual, and this time take on Homeland Security. I particualry enjoyed Spader’s closing and Shatner’s take on America at the very end. All in all, a fun episode – really following in the trend from the last two seasons. Anyway, as usual the subtitles can be found here at the bottom of the post or at Podnapisi.net. Before I forget, this release is for NoTV’s proper release of the episode. XOR’s release had a few glitches and was nuked. Have a great weekend!

Actually, since I always do a quality check and fixes on all subtitles that fall in my hands, you can find the edited subtitle in the http://www.opensubtitles.org file. I saw the website referenced in the end of the file, and I came over here. Thanks (Rubens) for the tip on http://www.boston-legal.org site —I love the series, but I didn’t know there was this wealth of info!

I generally send the subtitles as UTF-8 encoded, so all Unicode-aware (and Linux, too) players can show subs correctly regardless of language. If it doesn’t work for you, open the subtitle file in Wordpad and save it again as-is; this typically converts it to “ANSI” (your default windows codepage) and also converts all LF to CR-LF pairs.
